Naseem Scumbag Hamed

or How an arrogant piece of garbage got away laughing, after nearly killing three people.

12th May 2006

Former world boxing champion Naseem Hamed has been jailed for dangerous driving after a crash which left another driver severely injured.

Hamed, 32, from Dore in Sheffield, was sentenced to 15 months after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing. He was also given a four-year driving ban.

His £325,000 McLaren-Mercedes crashed at 90mph in Sheffield on 2 May 2005.
The judge criticised the DVLA for refusing to reveal that Hamed had been banned before for driving at 110mph.

The Honorary Recorder of Sheffield, Judge Alan Goldsack, told Hamed: "I find it astonishing that the DVLA has not been prepared to co-operate with the prosecution to give them details of your earlier offences - apparently on human rights grounds."

Anxious to impress

The DVLA's decision led to Hamed being sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court on Friday without the judge being told he had previously banned for a year for driving a Porsche at 110mph on the M1 in Derbyshire.

He also had three other previous convictions for speeding offences, details of which the prosecution had to find from court records.

After last May's head-on crash, the driver of the other car, 38-year-old Anthony Burgin, spent weeks in hospital with fractures to "every major bone in his body". His wife Clare was also injured.

The court heard how Hamed had been anxious to impress businessman Asif Ayub, 46, who was a passenger in the McLaren-Mercedes at the time of the crash.

Hamed was showing what his car could do when he crossed a solid white line at a speed of at least 90mph and crashed head-on into a Volkswagen Golf that emerged from a dip in the road.

The court heard Hamed's car then hit a second vehicle, a Ford Mondeo he had been trying to overtake
'Too serious'

The driver of the Mondeo, Michael Wood, described Hamed's overtaking manoeuvre in court as "stupid, suicide, ridiculous".

Jailing Hamed on Friday, Judge Alan Goldsack said the only possible sentence was custody
"It is far too serious for anything else", he said. "You could easily have killed Mr Burgin."
Outside court, the Burgins' solicitor, Jane Wright, said the couple were "extremely relieved" by the sentence.

She said: "People must never underestimate the amount of damage done to people's lives through driving dangerously on the roads."

Hamed's solicitor, Steve Smith, said he was "very disappointed" with the result and said he did not think Hamed's celebrity status had been an advantage.

4th September 2006

Former world featherweight boxing champion Naseem Hamed has been released from prison after serving just 16 weeks of a 15-month sentence for dangerous driving.

The 32-year-old left Moorland open prison in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, at 08:15 BST today and was driven away by a waiting Rolls-Royce.

He has been fitted with an electronic tag as part of the prison service's home detention curfew (HDC) scheme.

Speaking after his release, Hamed said to reporters: "I haven't seen my newborn baby [while I've been in prison]. It's been hard but thank God it's over."

The boxer, of Dore, Sheffield, admitted dangerous driving in May 2005 after his £320,000 Mercedes McLaren was involved in a head-on collision with a VW Golf driven by Anthony Burgin, 38.

The court was told that Mr Burgin suffered fractures to "every major bone in his body", while his wife Clare, a passenger in the car, was also injured.

Hamed admitted that the Peak District crash had been part of a "stupid risk" he had taken while demonstrating the prowess of his car to his passenger, driving 90mph on the wrong side of the carriageway into a blind dip on Ringinglow Road, where he collided with Mr Burgin coming the other way.

Mr Burgin has reacted angrily to Hamed's early release, saying: "What happened to my wife and I was deeply distressing and nearly destroyed our lives.

"I am shocked that after such a serious accident Mr Hamed has been released after less than four months."

Hamed Crash Victim Arrested. The man seriously injured in a high-speed collision with boxer Naseem Hamed has been arrested following a complaint from the ex-world champion’s family. His solicitor confirmed his arrest but denied he had done anything wrong. The producers of this website find it to be typical of the garbage of which the Hamed family are obviously composed that they should further abuse and bully the victim of the scumbag Hamed. This is clearly an attempt to make out that the victim of Hamed's lies is FALSELY made out to be the villain. This confirms, even more strongly, the fact that Hamed is indeed a scumbag; and so are other members of his family.

Police charge Hamed Crash Victim. The man who with two other people was very nearly killed by the Scumbag Hamed has been charged over an alleged incident involving Hamed's wife Aleasha on the 19th of April (2007). Police stated that Anthony Burgin, from Sheffield, was due to appear in court on the 1st of October (2007), charged with 'dangerous driving'. This demonstrates the arrogance of the Scumbag Hamed and now, the further arrogance of his similarly Scumbag wife. It is clear to anyone with a brain that Mr. Burgin has been under a great deal of stress from the lies both of the Scumbag Hamed and also those of the Police who, as you might expect, have found an easy vulnerable target to futher abuse having already been nearly killed by Scumbag Hamed. The pattern of Burgin's behaviour can be directly attributed to the effects of 'lack of resolution' which perpetuate the underlying injustice, firstly inflicted on Mr. Burgin by the Scumbag Hamed, and then continued by the Police and made even worse by the idiot Judge who did not sentence the Scumbag Hamed to serve the full prison term for his offences. This matter is made worse by the fact of the law services and the courts going for the easy vulnerable target, Mr.Burgin. It is not the first time that the victim has been badly treated, firstly by the scumbag who caused him harm, secondly by the police who can always be relied on the go after the easy vulnerable target and the courts, who are populated by incompetent, worthless idiots for judges.

Hamed had been strongly tipped to make a return to boxing before his court case and reports are suggesting he may now attempt to make a comeback. We can only hope that somewhere there is a boxer who will give the Scumbag Hamed what is coming to him.

Hamed's solicitor, Steve Smith, is a liar who was not at all "disappointed" in any way whatsoever, and did everything he could to exploit his position and get his scumbag client off. The producer of this website has had the opportunity to appear as a witness in a court of law on several occasions and see first-hand the manoeuvres, tricks and lies of his kind.

The arrogant piece of garbage, Scumbag Hamed, will no-doubt get his driving licence back and move on; totally forgetting that his actions very nearly killed three people.

He will forget, but the producer of this website will not. A good friend was lost to another evil piece of trash just like Hamed. No forgiveness for the scumbag then, and no forgiveness for the Scumbag Hamed. Ever. Hamed should be in prison; and lose his driving licence permanently.

Its not over; and praying to God will not help you, Scumbag Hamed.
